❇️ Brands ®️ don't want to change suppliers until they have to. 💠
❇️ A brand need develop silk style type fabrics for SS27 women wears, but mill A missed it up, having been working together for 3 years. Samples looks goods, but mill A didn't show internal test report for color fastness, unfortunately, brands just had a look and approved quickly and happily on the surface prints. 💠
❇️ When these fabrics made into custom women wears and garments mill tested, bad results shows, color fading shows even if just washed once, and color migration is severe. A brand pre-saled and very upset, they sent over the samples and inform us of their worries, we did as below,
1️⃣ Analyzed the base fabrics' construction and choose the right one for printing, Luckily, we have enough stock for this tye then. 💠
2️⃣ Checking the original designs and sample within 1 day following the confirmed prints, by the way, we used the high color fastness acid dyes to prevent from color fading and severe color migration. 💠
3️⃣ Test the fabrics in our lab following brands' requirements, once results shows okay, then we sent over samples to brands for checking and approval. Finally, we did it~ 💠
❇️ That's a costly lesson, only when suppliers or manufacturers could handle quality | communications | lead times | shipping... well, brands or the final users can be assured. ㊗️
